I own many watches, from a Breitling to an Omega, to the trending/popular retro Casio watches. Some of these being finer pieces, where great precision and detail has gone into making them. And, some watches that I have just bought, but never worn – these being the less pricier specimens. But, I cannot help notice the amount of sheer desire female fashion and lifestyle bloggers have when it comes to Michael Kors watches. Thats not to say I dislike them. Rather, I believe some ignorant bloggers need to actually scout around a bit more. One brand that I’m actually a fan of is GC. If aren’t too sure what brand GC is, then let me enlighten you.
Before the GC watch review
You’ve probably heard of Guess. If not, they make watches, and apparently clothes. GC watches were launched by Guess because of the growing demand for designer watches at high-end prices in 2007. By the time I got round to purchasing one, they were in nearly all high-end department stores such as Harrods, and Selfridges. My female friend whom accompanied me when I was making one of my many watch purchases spent most of her time looking at Michael Kors, telling me that they were going to be really popular. As you can probably tell I didn’t care, and my eyes were glued to the GC section.
GC Watches Review
I own two of these badboy GC watches, one being plain silver the other being black and rose gold. If you haven’t deduced from the first images, they are the same model. The silver GC watch was bought for me as a birthday present some time ago (I can’t really remember when) but it cost roughly around £300, and the black/rose gold watch I purchased in Harrods for £510. Price-wise they cost slightly more than a Casio, and obviously less than a Rolex. Then-again these GC watches look pretty badass.
I wont bore you with the technical details in this GC watches review, however I use the silver one on a daily basis. Meaning, if I’m just doing every day activities I will usually wear this watch. It looks smart and goes well with nearly everything I wear, regardless if I’m in a business meeting and wearing my trendiest suit the GC watch helps compliment it. Moreover, I do prefer wearing the black/rose gold version of the watch when wearing a suit. The black and rose gold GC watch goes great with a tux, and looks the part.
Current GC Watches
A review wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t mention the current models, they are 100% worth checking out. If you’re looking for a watch that is sophisticated, and down-right slick GC watches are for you. They may be priced slightly higher than your average watch, but are worth ever penny. Two of my favourite GC watches are the: Gc Diver Chic Round Face Black Ceramic Ladies’ Dress Watch and the Gc Round Brown Dial Brushed Steel Case Rose-Gold Plated Men’s Sport Watch
